Joyce graduated high school in Hobart, Indiana. A wonderful dancer and talented artist, she enjoyed spending time with friends, several of whom remained close throughout her life. Joyce and Bill met in Indiana then chose Naperville, Illinois, to live and raise their family. A dedicated mother who always put her family first, she also treasured her longtime friendships. Joyce was an avid golfer at Cress Creek Country Club, where she and Bill spent many years socializing and ringing in the new year while making lifelong, supportive friendships. She also enjoyed bowling and playing bridge with her husband and friends, and, in later years, playing Mahjong with her close-knit group of Naperville ladies. She was instrumental in supporting Bill throughout his years founding and building the family business, GAINSystems. She also was the consummate supportive maternal figure always willing to host and help her friends’ children and children’s friends.

Those who knew her appreciated her playful sense of humor and delightful, infectious laughter. She brought joy to any room. She is beloved and will be missed by so many.
